Dr Sachchithanantham earned her medical degree with distinction in clinical practice from St George’s Hospital Medical School, London, in 2005. She also holds a BSc Honours in Medical Sciences with Management from Imperial College London. Her training in Haematology through the South East London rotation equipped her with broad experience in clinical and laboratory haematology, including blood transfusion, haemostasis, and thrombosis.

She completed an MD thesis in AL amyloidosis at the National Amyloidosis Centre, University College London. She subsequently served as Senior Clinical Research Fellow and Honorary Consultant in Haematology and Amyloidosis at the National Amyloidosis Centre and Royal Free Hospital. Her responsibilities included providing a national advisory service on amyloidosis, general and consultative haematology, and specialist care for plasma cell disorders at University College London Hospital.

In December 2020, Dr Sachchithanantham joined Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital. An accomplished researcher and educator, she has published in leading medical journals, actively contributes to clinical trials, and is involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.

He specialises in lung cancer, bladder cancer and prostate cancer alongside kidney cancer, mesothelioma and immunotherapy treatment. He privately practises as a consultant medical oncologist at Shalbourne Private Healthcare, while his NHS base is Great Western Hospitals Foundation Trust (GWH).  

Dr Khan has strong academic background, graduating from King's College London with an MBBS in 1999 having achieved a BSc in Physiology three years previous. He began his specialist oncology training on the North London rotation in 2004 and continued his training in Oxford. His ground breaking research in cancer biomarkers at the world-renowned University of Oxford led to him being awarded a DPhil in 2013.

Dr Khan, who also treats ovarian cancer and renal cancer, is a respected leader in his field. alongside his consultant role, he is the oncology department and clinical governance lead at GWH. Furthermore, he is the principle investigator for numerous phase III clinical trials there. 

He has contributed to numerous peer reviewed publications and continues to conduct research to further his knowledge in his field. Dr Khan is also a member of various professional organisations including the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP), European Society of Medical Oncologists (ESMO) and the Association of Cancer Physicians (ACP).

Dr Giovanni Tritto is a distinguished consultant gastroenterologist and hepatologist who specialises in liver disease, fatty liver and cirrhosis with more than 20 year experience in gastrointestinal endoscopy and colonoscopy, dyspepsia and bowel disease, including chronic diarrhoea, but to mention just a few. He is currently practising at St Thomas' Hospital, which is part of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Trust, located in London.

Dr Tritto obtained his medical degree at the prestigious University of Naples Federico II in 1988. He then completed dual specialist training in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He would first embark on his medical consultant career in Italy in 1999. Notably, he worked in the hepatology unit of the Antonio Cardarelli Hospital in Naples from 2003 to 2009, before moving to London to join a research programme with the highly regarded Liver Failure Group at the University College London.

Having settled in London, he started his consultant career in the NHS and was eventually appointment as consultant gastroenterologist and hepatologist as Guy’s and St Thomas’, where he is currently the lead of the gastroenterology department. Dr Tritto has published an extensive amount of peer-reviewed articles and publications.
